Small Groups

Small groups of 2 to 6 people may enroll together to gain many of the benefits of private lessons with the advantage of a discounted fee. If you and your friends, family members, co-workers, or social group have similar language improvement goals, small group sessions offer a more intimate and personalized training than a classroom, but with the support and motivation provided by a group. Lesson content and pace will be tailored to the small group students, who will agree on the subject matter, location, and time of the sessions.

Companies who would like to hire an instructor for several of their employees may find small group session the most effective and economical way to help their employees improve their communication skills. Small group sessions are usually scheduled weekly or bi-weekly.

Students in a small group program will be asked to complete occasional assignments and to spend time in personal practice in between lessons. The rate of success of the program depends greatly on the student’s personal motivation.

If a private group contracts the language instruction, they will have complete freedom to choose subject matter and scheduling/location. If an employer sponsors the small group training, the company will determine course objectives and whether scheduling lessons during the workday or in the workplace is acceptable.
